Week 23
When Samuel the prophet decided to retire he gave a speech. He told the Israelite population not to be afraid for their future because even though they had done many things wrong including asking for a man to lead them instead of God, they had not given up their faith. He told them God would offer grace.
Generations later Jesus offered grace over and over and over again to his followers. The entire Christian faith is based on that offer of grace. God offers grace to start over no matter how badly we did in the past. Through the Divine we have Grace to begin anew no matter what happened yesterday, last week, last month, last year. All we have to do is get up, start again, and walk forward in faith.

"Do not be afraid," Samuel replied. "You have done all this evil; yet do not turn away from the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart.
Word Grace
Today I will take time to feel what it is to have grace; then to give grace knowing that I can start each day new, determined to live better in faith today than I did yesterday.
