Week 27
Tonight the news reported that a man risked his life to save a woman whose car was dangling precariously over a bridge. Without fear he stepped in and because of his courage a life was saved. In the same news cast another man was being investigated for sending his estranged wife a letter bomb. He was attempting to harm the person he had vowed to love.

Two men took two different actions, one acting in love, the other in fear. Fear comes from a belief in lack, a feeling that there is not enough of something; security, love, food, honor, what ever we believed we were entitled to have in our lives. I believe it is fear that drives every bad thing one human does to another.

Love on the other hand inspires generosity, sacrifice, honor and all good things. When we act out of love we are not focusing on our expectations for ourselves, but on our hopes for someone else.

Verse for This Week
John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear. . .

WordLove

Today I put my focus on love. I will feel what it is too love and let myself soak love up like a sponge.
