Day 7

I have spent a week so far writing this and it has been an interesting journey.
I am not a Bible scholar. Real scholars can read one or more of the original languages, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek and they spend their lives in research. I read English only. I consider myself a student of the Bible though.

I have studied for decades and I find that having a focus of study adds to the depth of my learning. Spending time is meditation also helps to increase the depth of my understanding. For me shutting up and listening is the most important path to growth.  My meditation into silence makes me more peaceful.

Verse:Joshua 1:6-9 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. . .

Word for This Week
Meditate

Today I will consider silence and the joy of meditation that brings me peace.
