Week 33
Samuel Clements known as Mark Twain is said to have said, “Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday. .... I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened.” In 1 John 4 fear is linked to punishment. Not punishment from God but punishment we dish out to ourselves. We punish ourselves don't we?  When we worry and fret we give away our peace.

A state of worry and fear makes it harder to make good decisions. Fear contracts.  Jesus said there is no fear in love.  When we release fear and act on faith and do the loving thing, love expands.  We leave room for inspired possibilities and anything can happen.

Verse for This Week
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.

Word Possibilities

Today I will consider all the possibilities that are available to me as I sit in the silence.
